I recently had the privilege of visiting the Ibeme Umuokie village in Nigeria. I was saddened to see how they were living without so many of the basic necessities that we so often take for granted. The greatest hardship was that there was no available water supply in the village. The bathroom is a hole in the ground. For around $8,000 the whole community could have access to water. This amount would cover the drilling of the borehole, all of the tubing, and the generator to power it. Just imagine what a difference this would make to all of them. I know times are hard here, but it’s nothing compared to what they are going through. Please pray over this situation and consider giving if you can. Remember that every little bit helps.
